What is Sprouted Bread?
Studies show sprouting grains unlock the nutritional value in whole grains including soluble fiber, folate, vitamin C, vitamin E and beta-carotene and the essential amino acid lysine. In addition, the sprouting process also lowers the glycemic index, meaning there is less of an impact on blood sugar levels.
Since I don’t have the time to make sprouted grain myself, I get Ezekiel bread from @foodforlifebaking which is organic, non-gmo, high in protein and it’s delicious. Goes great with homemade hummus or almond butter.
